All is alright
Until fiends come again

A light in the dark
No will
No strength
Only fear for survival
Accompanied by blissful madness

But don’t give in
Have hope
Don’t succumb, don’t become

Safety from shadows
Fiends stand stark in the light

A light in the dark
A shot?
Always darkness
Forever fear

A light in the dark
Humanities savior
Death its neighbor

A light in the dark
No more light
On the run
In the darkness lost forever

Walk along the path you hear
A screech of a girl, she must be near
You see body parts all over the floor
You hear the screech behind a door

Open the door and you will see
A head and eyes that seek
‘Have you seen my ears?’ She said
You look around but she should be dead

There is much more that you would see
But to spare your eyes and ears I will leave
Have a good time after you go
Because my secret images I will never show

In the dark you’ll never see
The secret images that I keep
So horrid I dare not tell
When in darkness I did fell

In the darkness if you see
A little girl, who looks like three
Turn around you see her face
All in blood and wearing black lace

She looks at you with eyes so wide
‘Since I just ate I’ll let you slide by’
She walks away with a skip in her foot
You see a body, not moving but you looked

I’ll sit here
In my corner
Of darkness
And silently scream
I’ll cry tears of pain,
Regret,
Loneliness,
Sorrow.
And no one will know.
No one will know where I am.
I’m in the dark that engulfs the unseen parts of the world.
Of the universe.
The darkness that consumes my mind.
Or what’s left of it.
I’d ask for company, but I honestly don’t want it.
Solitude works for now..
But when it gets to me,
I’ll walk with the others who were also swallowed by darkness
and forgotten.
I’ll be a spirit among shadows.
